Circularity & Zero Waste
Circularity is not a marketing argument: it's how our entire model is conceived, from wetsuit collection to final assembly. At OCENEO, nothing is lost, everything is transformed.
A closed, short-loop system
It all starts with collecting end-of-life wetsuits from surfers, clubs, and shops. They are sorted, processed, and then shaped a few kilometers from our workshop in the Arcachon Basin.
By keeping each step local, we limit transportation, maintain quality control, and support the local economy. The material travels very little: it goes from a second hand to a second life without circling the globe.
Offcuts are not waste
Production offcuts don't go to waste: they feed into NEOPOP, our division dedicated to objects, POS displays, and furniture made from recycled neoprene.
This way, the material extends far beyond eyewear, constantly finding new uses. That's circularity: treating every residue as a resource.
Waste is just a resource in the wrong place.
