A surf, diving or kite wetsuit can hardly be recycled through conventional channels. Before binning it, here are 3 useful solutions.
1. Give it away or resell it
If it's still in good condition, a wetsuit can serve a beginner, a surf school or a charity. Classified ads, local clubs: think of it before the bin.
2. Get it repaired
A tear doesn't doom a wetsuit. Workshops repair rips and re-glue seams to extend its life by several seasons.
3. Turn it into sunglasses (upcycling)
At end of life, neoprene keeps all its value. With our Recycle my wetsuit service, we turn your wetsuit into a unique pair of sunglasses, handmade in Arcachon. An object full of your sessions, rather than waste.
Rather than throwing it away, give it a second life: I recycle my wetsuit.
